Medicine Made Easy was born out of the need for a comprehensive, yet concise handbook to guide medical students in their internal medicine clinical postings. The first and second editions were well received by the students and by the medical faculty, and has been used extensively in clinical as well as theory classes. Like the previous editions, the present edition is intended to keep up with the continual evolution of internal medicine practice. Every chapter from the prior editions have been closely reviewed and updated, with substantial revisions in the form of figures, tables, and algorithms, which help in better understanding and quick reference. In particular, the book's full-color format allows readers to locate and use information quickly. Unlike the standard textbooks which are hefty and time consuming to use, this edition has been made short, precise, and easier to go through.
