Meditation And Its Practice is a meditation manual that teaches us, through meditation techniques, to free ourselves from the web of everyday chaotic thought processes and to tap into an infinite reservoir of consciousness. Summary Of The Book Meditation And Its Practice introduces its readers to systematic and guided techniques of meditation. Meditation has been established as a gateway into peace and tranquility. The book provides access to lasting peace and tranquility through techniques which have been used by sages in India since time immemorial. This practical guide strives to enable the reader to utilize one’s own resources, which lie inside at his or her disposal but tend to remain dormant. To free ourselves up and to use those internal resources fully is an endeavor of Meditation And Its Practice. The book focusses on the different techniques of meditation rather than just theory because it is believed that the more consistently the techniques are practised, the more one experiences its benefits. As one practices consistently, one discovers an inward journey which begins with experiencing increased calmness and resistance to stress and gradually moves into more deeper and significant realms. The chapters which constitute Meditation And Its Practice are Preparation for Meditation, Meditation Mind and Mantra, A Program for Progress in Meditation, Questions and Answers, and Relaxation Exercises.
