Electronic Demo Circuit for Traffic Lights with automatic flashing of Red, Yellow and Green light within a time interval. Traffic density on roads in big cities like Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and Hyderabad has become so high that it requires a lot of planning for smooth flow of the traffic on the roads. Therefore the traffic lights have been installed at almost all major traffic crossings in these cities. The given model is a basic traffic Light system that only show the one sided switching for the crossing and not for the both viz. straight and right options. This can be modified to get these options with certain modifications. The given circuit of Traffic Light Control is a combination of two circuits. One is Square wave generator, to provide the pulses and the other is a counter that counts the incoming pulses. Here the Flashing LED works as a square wave generator.
