ACTIVATED CHARCOAL POWDER NATURAL/ECONOMICAL/EASILY WASHABLE BEAUTY / FACE PACK It is a fine powder from Coconut shells and useful in beauty and detoxification. Activated charcoal and regular charcoal are almost identical – the only difference is that activated charcoal has been created solely for mask use. To create activated charcoal, regular charcoal is heated with a gas that causes the charcoal to expand, creating a porous surface that traps toxins. Activated charcoal works because it chemically binds other substances to its surface and can absorb thousands of times its own weight. FOR UNDERARMS ONLY: Charcoal for removing underarms darkness :) 1 tablespoon of raw honey and add three tablespoon of activated charcoal. Mix both the ingredients together and apply it to clean and dry underarms. Leave on for 20 minutes. You can relax your arms and let the pack work like magic. CAUTION: THIS IS ONLY FOR UNDERARMS AND NOT MEANT FOR FACE MASK. FOR FACE MASK: Charcoal for removing Blackheads and whiteheads :) 2 tablespoon of activated charcoal (approximately 0.2 grams). To this add 1/2 teaspoon of bentonite clay/Agar Powder / Unflavoured Gelatin / Egg White. Mix all of the ingredients together into a smooth paste, and spot test the mask on your cheek or underside of your wrist to make sure that you do not have any adverse reactions. Wash face with a mild cleanser and pat partially dry (so that it is not dripping wet, yet moist). Apply the mask evenly avoiding the delicate skin around your eyes and lips, and let sit until dry, about 7-10 minutes. As the mask dries, it feels tight on the skin, which can sometimes feel a little itchy (if you start to feel uncomfortable, wash the mask off). After the mask dries, wash it off, pat face gently with a clean towel, and let the skin breath or apply a mild all-natural moisturizer. Charcoal for making pores smaller :) Make pores smaller and cleaner. Throughout the day, toxins from the world around us clog our pores. When your pores aren’t clear, neither is your complexion. Activated charcoal when used in a face mask binds to and helps pull the dirt out of your pores, making them less visible (it’s the oil and dirt that makes them appear bigger). This leaves your face feeling fresh. (Use it with an exfoliating scrub to get the dead skin off and experience an even deeper clean.) Charcoal for removing oil from skin :) Activated charcoal may be just the ingredient you need to balance things out. Used in a cleanser or mask, activated charcoal can pull the unwanted excess oils from your skin, leaving it smooth. You’ll want to do this sparingly once or twice per week at the most so that you don’t over-dry your skin. If you already have dry skin, best to steer clear of it for this use, as you don’t want to dry it out even more. This will help your face so you can say hello to that gorgeous skin that's just waiting to be revealed.
