Curry Leaf tree is a small or medium sized tree, most famous for its aromatic leaves that provide curry spice. The leaves of Murraya Koenigii are eaten raw for relieving vomiting and dysentery. The oil made of the curry tree leaves and its seeds have been researched upon. This essential oil is said to contain antifungal and antibacterial properties. Leaves are digestive, tonic, stimulant, rich in vitamin A and calcium. Leaves are also used for diarrhoea, dysentry and checking vomitting. Bark-paste is antisceptic, applied to skin eruptions. Root extract is taken for relief from renal pain. HOW TO GROW: Mix Manure with soil (30:70) and this will help in germination of seeds. Care needs to be taken to see that the soil is clean from any insect. Open the seed packet on a sheet of paper and put the seeds into the prepared soil to half inch of depth. While watering, sprinkling water through a sprinkler or manually using your hands. Germination may take place 10-18 days. Then you may transplant the seedlings to various pots or desired areas.
