It gives me immense pleasure to introduce my book MICROFINANCE FOR POVERTYALLEVIATION. The book consist of seven chapters, the first chapter deals research design inwhich aims and objective, importance and the significance of the poverty reduction in theKalyan Karnataka. Second chapter approaches the reviews of literature related to microfinanceand the poverty reduction. The third chapter examines the over view of Microfinance in India.The fourth chapter evaluates the role of microfinance in the Karnataka state and fifth chapter isabout profile of the Kalaburagi district. In six chapter an evaluation of Self Help Groups hasexamined and final chapter is examines about the Microfinance for Poverty Alleviation hasbeen studies and recommendation about the problem has been approached in a scientific sense.I am very grateful to Dr. Dasharath S.
