The book has been written essentially for midwifery students of obstetrics for their preparation of midwifery and nursing final examination. It has been written strictly according to the syllabus prescribed by the Nursing Council of India. The book has been divided into 13 units as per the prescribed syllabus. It has coloured format for better understanding and has many photographs, figures, sketches, flow charts and tables. Most chapters have key points at the end for quick reading during examinations.
