She has written eighteen books, some of which are School Ahead, Wild Child And Other Stories, and Wingless: A Fairly Weird Fairy Tale. Anand was the head of the National Centre for Children’s Literature, and was a resource person with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. She holds the world record for assisting three thousand children in making the World’s Longest Newspaper (850 meters). Anand was honoured by the President of India, Dr. Kalam, in 2007. Her book, No Guns At My Son’s Funeral, was on the IBBY Honour List. Subhadra Sen Gupta is an Indian author. Gupta has penned down Jodh Bai, Twelve O’Clock Ghost Stories, and A Clown for Tenali Rama. She graduated with a Master’s degree in History, and has been a copywriter for various advertising agencies. Three of her books have won the White Raven Award.
