My name is Kaya, Kaya Martel. l'm a 32 year old and have been a fugitive for thirteen days. My best friend Jasper and I made an attempt to rob a store. It didn't end well. We had to escape in a hury, but on the way out, Jasper got shot multiple times. I was able to escape and have been hiding from the police ever since. Having to live half my life in prison isnt t for me, I'd rather be on the run. It has been all over the news and I've been moving from one place to another. I slide down against the. wall of abuilding In an empty alley way. l sigh and feel the tears well up in my eyes, before they roll down my cheeks. l inhale deeply, trying to calm myself down. I get back up and slowly move out of the alley way, knowing I can't stay there:
