Summary Of The Book This is the second book of the series on the adventures of Julian, a precocious African-American boy. More Stories Julian Tells narrates the experiences of Julian along with his little brother Huey, best buddy Gloria, mom, and dad. Julian has a fertile imagination and promptly weaves tall tales involving himself and his pals. He narrates his fantastic stories so convincingly that people, especially his kid brother Huey, are completely taken by them. However, in some cases, his tales inadvertently lead him and Huey to trouble. In More Stories Julian Tells, there are five stories about the unique exploits of Julian and his gang, mostly the figments of the protagonist’s imagination. All the stories draw in from innocent experiences that engage a child. Along with the fun element, the book also brings out the message of love and respect for family. The children become braver and Julian realises about his responsibilities as an elder brother to Huey. About Ann Cameron A bestselling author, Ann Cameron had written many memorable children’s books, which are very popular among school-going children. She was born in 1943 in Rice Lake, a small town in Wisconsin, USA, where she spent her formative years. Some of her famous works are The Stories Julian Tells, The Stories Huey Tells, The Most Beautiful Place In The World, The Kidnapped Prince, and Julian, Dream Doctor. She has received a lot of rewards and recognition for her books. All her books have enthralled the readers over the years by their positive thoughts, simplicity, and exciting stories. Cameron completed her graduation as a Bachelor of Arts with honours in 1965 from Radcliffe College, Massachusetts. In New York, she started her career in publishing. She got married to Bill Cherry in 1990 and moved to Guatemala, where she lived for many years.
