Summary of the Book Crows and Owls Crows and Owls is a story of how one must not trust their close friends who were previously enemies. In the story, a murder of crows burnt down the nest of a pack of owls that had trusted them. The Dullard and Other Stories The chapters in this bunch of stories have characters that include both humans and animals in the wild. The unity, sentiments, emotions and thoughts of human beings is assigned to animals as well. The Greedy Mother-in-Law This story is about Saumitri and her greedy mother-in-law. When they discover that the sand of the Suvarna Dweep is of pure gold, the mother-in-law immediately decides to visit.
