The seasoning also provides corrosion resistance to the pan. No Chemicals are used. All our pans are strictly quality controlled so that each point in the pan surface measures exactly 5 millimeters. Through a lot of trail and errors we have found that 5 millimeters is the perfect size for a usable weight and even heat distribution
