The Great Chance to Enhance is the 2nd book in the Ms. B's Art on a Cart series. Ms. B, a quirky yet passionate art teacher does not have a traditional classroom. Instead, she piles her cart precariously high with art supplies and rolls it from class to class teaching students about art as well as unexpected life lessons. The Great Chance to Enhance deals with trying new things without being afraid. Elementary aged students are introduced to pottery making. They learn new art vocabualry, clay prepping procedures, and pottery making teachniques; but they also learn that every mishap can have a positive outcome. The catchy poem format and the colorful illustrations will capture young readers attention and the glossary of relevant art terms is a great learning tool.
