Super Napier/Pakchong-1 is Perennial Hybrid Napier Grass obtained by crossing Napier grass and Pearl Millet developed by Department of Livestock, Thailand. It’s Imported Hybrid, “KING OF NAPIER” in Asia.It is grow very fast & tall up to 12feet, high protein content (16-18%) & dry matter. First harvest planting after 75-80 days & subsequent cuts at intervals of 30-40 days. Green fodder yield up to 200 tons/acre/year depending upon the soil which can be retained on field for up to 8years.
