Wherever such devotees live, that place is as auspicious as Baikunth. (Padma Purana). The messengers of Yamraj are not even able to touch those who wear a thorn ie Tulsi garland around their neck (Skanda Purana). According to the Puranas, it is also believed that if there is a garland of Tulsi on the body while taking food, then that person gets the virtue of performing yajna manifold. The person wearing Tulsi's thorn gets increased fame, fame and prosperity. By wearing a Tulsi garland, the faith in God only increases.
