Nakshathra Traditional Cast Iron Tawa is a specialty of a small community of artisans based in rural Tamil Nadu. Once known for making this tawas, the art form is slowly dying with the introduction of non-stick cookware. We bring you these products directly from these artisans who have been making them for generations. Completely hand-made and pre-treated for immediate use in the gas burner. The Large Kallu is recommended for large families to make as many dosas as possible without overheating the Tawa.
