ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ms. Preethi Amaresh is a Political Scientist and an Indian Author, who completed her Doctorate in International Relations (DIR) at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, Switzerland. She is the author of three internationally published books, “Nihonomics: Economic Foreign Policy of Japan”, “Nànmín: Concavity of China’s Refugee Policy” and “Ninaegan Mae: The Stateless (Rohingya of Myanmar). Ms. Amaresh has written many articles on world affairs for leading international magazines andjournals. During her Doctorate programme she was a visiting scholar at several prestigious universities and institutions such as (NIAS-University of Copenhagen), Moscow State Institute of International Relations”(MGIMO), Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), South African Military Academy (Stellenbosch University) etc. Prior to her Doctorate programme, Ms. Amaresh has interacted with several International audiences and has presented her research papers in several countries and various leading Indianinstitutions. She holds double Masters degree in General Psychology andInternational Relations and was the 2017 Gold Medalist in International Relations from University of Madras. She has also earlier worked and interned in renowned organizations.In 2021, the Foreign Ministry of India invited Ms. Amaresh where she received wide appreciation for her work on “India’s soft power”.
