The Jyotiba temple is situated on a hilltop near Wadi Ratnagiri in the Kolhapur district. Jyotiba is considered to be an incarnation of three different deities: Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Shiva). The temple attracts a large number of devotees, especially during festivals like Navratri. Jyotiba is believed to be a Kshetrapal (guardian) of the region and is considered to be particularly protective of the local people.
