Though this kaya upperi also called the ‘Quartered banana chips’ owing to the shape of the raw plaintains cut in a criss- cross to give the shape of a quarter pie, is different and its shape. These are crispy and crunchy as well but slightly thick and hard as compared to the round shaped banana chips. This tasty snack cooked in aromatic coconut oil and deep fried to perfection with that light saltiness tastes heavenly. Hope you try and enjoy this yummy authentic kaya nurukku upperi.
