This Mala consists of 108 main beads of alternating Rudraksha & Sphatic beads, traditionally strung together on a durable thread or string. In addition to 108 beads, there is one extra bead known as the "Guru Bead" or "Sumeru" which acts as a marker for the beginning and end of the mala during chanting or meditation.
