It is a pleasure to present the textbook titled New Era Chemistry to the students and teachers. This book has been prepared under the new syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education and the guidelines of NCERT. In this book, full care has been taken of the needs of the students, due to which this book is useful not only in intermediate board exams but also in engineering and medical entrance exams. Some of the special features of this book are as follows- It is a textbook based on scientific and technical terminology. It is a book with simple and modern concepts and proper explanations in reading. Examples and illustrations based on the subject matter are given in the book. Very short answer, short answer, and long answer questions have been given in each unit for the students to practice the subject. Objective questions for competitive exams are also included in the book. In each unit, questions and their answers have been given from the book question-exemplar published by NCERT. All the questions and their answers from the NCERT textbook have been given in each unit for the convenience of the students. This book will generate interest in chemistry among the students and prove useful for the upcoming board examinations.
