About Habbe Rasaut Habbe Rasaut is a Unani compound drug. It is used for hemorrhoids/bleeding piles.It reduces the inflammation in hemorrhoids and decrease the hemorrhoids mass.It cab be use in both type of piles Badi and Khooni as per the Unani concept. Indication of Habbe Rasaut It is beneficial in Badi and Khooni Hemorrhoids. Ingredients of Habbe Rasaut Mazu Sabz : It is also know as Oak galls / Majuphal or Manjakani. Majuphal / Mazoo, is used for therapeutic purpose in Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani due to its certain medicinal activities. It is rich in tannic and gallic acid and has significant astringent action. It checks the bleeding and constricts the tissues. Mazoo / Majuphal is beneficial in internal hemorrhages, diarrhea, gonorrhea, leucorrhoea and other vaginal discharges, to restore postpartum uterine elasticity and to stimulate the contraction of vaginal muscles. Externally it is applied on prolapses of rectum, relaxed, hemorrhoids The other therapeutic uses of Mazu Sabz are relieving pain, causing the contraction of skin cells and other body tissues, Drying agent , causes sweat , stops the bleeding , Reducing level of the sugar glucose in the blood etc. Sange Jarahat : It works as a homeostatic but as an ingredient of some preparation. Geru : It shows beneficial effects in skin diseases, piles, bleeding disorders, ulcers, boils, urticaria, vomiting, hiccups etc. It is not used as single drug but as an ingredient of some compound preparations containing a large number of mineral drugs. Katira : It is used for dressing burns. A paste is prepared using gond katira which helps to treat burns.Gond katira is also helpful in strengthening the immune system.It is very commonly used in herbal ayurvedic and Unani medicine to treat cough and diarrhea.It also helps to cure mouth ulcers.Gond is also said to be helpful in reducing tumours.Gond katira possesses adaptogenic properties which increase the body’s ability to restore its normal physiological functioning and protect it from the damaging effects of stress.Gond contains large quantities of proteins and is very good for health.It helps to regulate the heart beat.
