Named for its visual appearance, the Bunny Ear Cactus, also known as Angel's Wings Cactus or Polka-Dot Cactus has the scientific name of Opuntia microdasys) Native to Northern Mexico and Arizona, Opuntia microdasys requires minimal care and all it need is a mimic of its native regional conditions. So if you have a dry, low humidity home and plenty of sunny exposure, bunny ears cactus might be the perfect plant for you. Only one thing to be very careful of is not to over water the cacti. Water the Bunny Ears Cacti only when the top one inch of the soil is dry. Allow the water to drain out of the pot and remove any excess from the saucer. They love to be in a spot where they can receive plenty of bright direct/indirect sunlight and temperatures ranging from 20°C up to 30°C. We recommend not to repot a plant immediately after its arrival for at least a week as a newly arrived plant needs time to adjust to its new surroundings, temperatures and humidity.
