About Kenneth Anderson The author of this book, Kenneth Anderson, was a renowned hunter of British origin, born in India. Apart from this book, Anderson has also written several other books, documenting his hunting experiences in India. Some of the books written by Anderson include Tales From The Indian Jungle, The Call Of The Man Eater, and The Black Panther Of Sivanipalli And Other Adventures Of The Indian Jungle. He was born in India in the year 1910. Six generations of his family has dwelt in India. Even though his father was not a hunter, he was one of the major influences in Anderson’s decision to become a hunter. Anderson completed his studies from Bishop Cotton Boys’ School, and later completed his graduation studies from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore. He also worked for the British Aircraft Factory in Bangalore, serving as the Factory Manager for Planning. In his books, the author mentioned that he owned almost 200 acres of land through Hyderabad, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. During the last stages of his life, the author spent a great deal of his time promoting the cause of wildlife conservation. He passed away in the year 1974. His son, Donald Anderson is also a passionate hunter, and currently lives in Bangalore, India.
