This is a story that surrounds the life of a young boy, Aftab, who is in awe of the dangerous Akram. Aftab is ready to follow Akram anywhere, and is ready to do anything that Akram wants him to do. Summary of the Book Aftab is a young Kashmiri boy who lives two lives: he is a fun and bright teenager during the day, and sneaks away to be a part of Akram and his group of terrorists by night. He is unaware of how dangerous Akram really is, as all he sees is a handsome and exciting man. It is not safe for him to sneak out of his home every night and spend time with Akram. What is worse, is that he is ready to do whatever Akram will ask of him. Akram is more than willing to allow Aftab to follow him and send him to places to take care of duties that will benefit him. This is a story that is not only about the militancy in Kashmir, but could be the story of many children today. The book will be an interesting read for teenagers and adults anywhere around the world.
