This book provides a presentation of the theoretical, practical, and computational aspects of nonlinear regression. There is background material on linear regression, including a geometrical development for linear and nonlinear least squares. All data sets used in this book are real, and the extensive use of geometric constructs and continuing examples aims to make the progression of ideas appear very natural. Pseudocode for computing algorithms is included.
