This book will be primarily helpful for fresh graduates of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology who can prepare themselves soundly for both written as well as oral examinations. At the same time this can be used as a readily available handbook for quick reference by practising engineers. Various suggestions of the readers have been incorporated to meet the latest patterns of examinations. These include the questions of the Fill in the blanks and matching the two parts types of questions. A new chapter on Renewable Sources of Energy is the additional feature of this edition. The printing errors in the previous edition are also corrected. I hope the book in the present form will prove to be more useful to the young chemical engineers.
