The challenges involved in the reorganisation of the Government of India has at the same time been a major concern of the government. The volume brings together some important articles addressing these issues as well as important excerpts, drawn from the Reports of the First and Second Administrative Reforms Commission, the Fifth Central Pay Commission, and the Expenditure Reforms Commission, with a bearing on administrative restructuring. The volume dedicated to the memory of Shri L.P. Singh includes insightful addresses made by him in different forums.
