Oxford First Picture Dictionary is a comprehensive book to introduce children aged 4 and upwards to reading and writing skills. The book has over 500 words in alphabetical order, each with an illustration and a useful phrase. In addition, the book has additional thematic sections which focus on several themes including calendar, outer space, fairy tales, and classroom. About Val Biro Val Biro is a children’s author, artist and illustrator. He completed his education in Budapest and London. His studio is located in Amersham in Buckinghamshire.
