Summary Of The Book The Oxford Learner's Pocket Thesaurus is a collection of information which can be very deceptive with regard to its small size. Almost 5000 key terms are provided in the book along with about 12 similar words for each of those terms. Three to ten near-synonyms are included in the book, and the difference between these words is clearly depicted. At the same time, care is taken so that the readers do not have any trouble in learning the proper meanings of the words they are not accustomed to previously. The words that are different or opposite to each other are marked to avoid any ambiguity. In addition to that, numerous small notes are presented to show the subtle differences in meaning between two words with similar meanings. It also contains details about almost 25,000 similar and opposite terms. This book is very helpful and enriches the knowledge and vocabulary of the readers to a great extent.
