Rajasekhara Basu wrote all his stories under the pseudonym Parashuram. Even today no heir has come to weave the story of this fancy taste in Bengali literature.Rabindranath Tagore read Parashuram's first book, Gaddalika, spontaneously and wrote a critical critique, breaking the rules. In reply to Rabindranath, Moksham wrote at the very end of the letter, "This man of your Bengal Chemical is not chemical gold at all, he is pure gold."During the lifetime of Rajshekhar Basu, 9 story books were published: Gaddalika, Kajjali, Hanumaner Swapno, Galpakalpa, Dhusturi Maya, Krishnakali, Neel Tara, Anandibai and Chamatkumari. There were 96 stories included in itTwo more stories after his death, 'Aamer Parinam', 'Ananda Mistri' and the unfinished story 'Jamaishthi' were added, bringing together a total of 100 stories.
