Percy Jackson And The Sea Of Monsters is the story of a demigod named Percy, who is on a quest for the Golden Fleece that can save Camp Half-Blood. Summary Of The Book The action packed plot in Percy Jackson And The Sea Of Monsters takes readers into the world of demigods and magic. Percy is a demigod, the son of Poseidon, the God of Sea. The 13 year old senses that the land of the demigods is in danger, as the magical borders protecting it have been mysteriously poisoned. He is informed by his divine guard, Grover, that the Golden Fleece can act as a shield and counter this secret poison. Grover is abducted and imprisoned in the dangerous sea of monsters. The book traces how Percy faces the deadly waters to rescue his guard, who needs to assist him in the search for the Golden Fleece. With Annabeth, Grover, Clarisse, and Tyson, who is also his half brother and a cyclop, Percy heads towards the island holding the object of their fascination. There, he confronts monsters like Luke, who nearly rob him of his life. Will he be able to obtain the Golden Fleece? Will Percy be able to save his land from the Titans? Will he survive the attack from the beastly mythological monsters? The book answers these questions and determines Percy’s fate.
