Summary of the Book Percy Jackson is a fictional character in all of Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. The books talk about the adventures of the protagonist who is the son of Poseidon, the God of the sea. This makes him a demigod, and he is also more powerful than most of the other children who are demigods. He has been through many adventures through these books and has magical powers, items and companions. He has many water induced abilities since he is the son of Poseidon. About the Author Rick Riordan is an American author who is best known for writing Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. He graduated from the University of Texas, and taught English and Social Studies at the Presidio High School in San Francisco.
