He asks Wendy to follow him to his home, a mysterious place that can be reached by flying second to the right, and straight on till morning. Using Tinkerbells fairy dust, Wendy, John and Michael follow Peter to his magical world where he lives with the Lost Boys and several other curious people. This island is full of wonders and magic, and Wendy and the others don’t want to leave it. However, there are also some dangers here which Peter seems to ignore. Among them is the diabolical pirate, Captain Hook, and the crazy crocodile which is trying to eat him. About J. M. Barrie Sir James Matthew Barrie, 1st Baronet, Order of Merit, was a Scottish novelist, playwright and the creator of Peter Pan. He originally wrote Peter Pan as a play, and he later adapted it as a novel. Sir Barrie handed over the rights to the Peter Pan works to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, and this hospital continues to benefit from the proceeds of this work to this very day. The book was adapted into a hit animated film by Walt Disney in 1953. In 1991, Steven Spielberg directed an unrelated sequel to the book entitled Hook. It starred Robin Williams as Peter Pan and Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook.
