Pharmacology is an expanding field. The subject is dreaded by most students because of the difficulty in remembering the matter. The nursing students have their own syllabus but because there are no books meant only for nursing, they have to read the books meant for medical students. Therefore, this book has been brought out exclusively for nursing students. It has been based on the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council. The book is in a simple language, includes adequate description of drugs with tables, boxes, diagrams and charts to help in easy understanding of the subject.
