This practical manual of physiology has been made according to the syllabus of Dental Council of India for students of B.D.S. First Year. Salient features of the manual are - All the experiments in the manual have been covered in different sections like - Haematology Experiments Amphibian Experiments  Human Experiments.Attempt has been made to reduce the size of the manual without affecting the necessary contents. Relatively more emphasis has been given to the non-invasive human experiments to make it more clinical and interesting for the students. This manual provides ideal and original graphs for the purpose of analysis by the students so that they can understand basic aspects of clinical science in a better way rather than mugging them up. Some graphs which are not available in original form have been drawn by me to make them scientifically more accurate. As the most of the graphs given in the manual were recorded on the Polyrite or on Students Physiograph this is why they show far better recording as compared to the records on simple kymograph. This very fact can easily be appreciated by seeing the graphs. Sufficient space has been given for the purpose of observation calculation result and discussion in each experiment. About four to five (blank and ruled) pages have been provided at the end of each section to add any extra experiment depending upon the availability of specific equipment in the department. Some possible viva voce questions have been given at the end of each experiment and space has been provided in the form of students notes to write their answers. Intentionally no answer has been given with them so that student will try to use his theoretical knowledge to find the answer. However answers of certain questions for which the answer is not easily available are given along with the questions.
