The book very lucidly discusses the role of physiotherapy during antenatal and postnatal periods. It clearly describes the anatomical and physiological aspects of female reproductive system and explains the antenatal program succinctly. The complications and hazards of exercises if done without guidance are brought to focus. A separate chapter highlights the importance of diet during pregnancy. Tips about baby care add to the value of the text. Simple illustrations diagrams and pictures make the book user-friendly and informative. The book is intended to serve as a text for the students of physiotherapy and as a handy guide to the practicing physiotherapists.
