His main areas of research interest include molecular biology applications, medicinal herb authentication, genetics education, and forensic science. Nigel W. Scott is an author and educator. Scott currently works as the Principal Lecturer in the School of Allied Health Sciences at De Montfort University, Leicester. Adrian Slater is an educator and author. Slater completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Edinburgh in Biological Sciences, and M.Sc. from the University of Leeds in Bioinformatics.
