Pop Goes the Weasel is the second serial-killer thriller featuring the Detective Inspector, Helen Grace, written by M. J. Arlidge. Summary of the Book The mutilated corpse of a middle-aged man, with the heart removed, is found in Southampton's red light district. A few hours later the heart arrives by courier, with his wife and children! A gory pattern seems to emerge when another male victim, eviscerated, is found dead and his heart is delivered a few hours later. The media starts calling the episode Jack the Ripper in reverse, identifying the murders as the killer’s revenge against the men who lead debased double lives visiting prostitutes in the red light areas.
