Blue light is all around us. It is emitted by the sun and artificial light sources, including digital screens such as your smartphone, tablet, computer, and others. It is seen in studies that blue light in moderation is necessary for regulation of the sleep/wake cycles of our body even it helps in our mood and cognitive performances. It is also seen premature aging can happen because of the blue light. Overexposure to blue-violet light can damage the retina and subsequently increase the risk of age-related problems.
