He has participated in the, Indo-US, Indo-former USSR, Indo-German, Indo-Japanese, Indo-UK, and Indo-Israel joint science and technology collaborative research programmers in powder technology and advanced materials. He has served as the chairman and as a member of different committees of the national and international awards and also as the chairman of International Hausner award committee of the International Fine Particle Society, USA in 1980. He was the leader of the Indian delegation of Powder Metallurgy to former USSR, during May-June 1983. He has been invited by the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education of Islamic Republic of Iran to organise a Powder Technology Programme for Ph.D. students in 1995. His name is listed in the Guinness Book of World records 1976 and Marquis Who's Who in the world, International Who's Who of intellectuals, International Biographical centre, Cambridge, England etc. He served as a consultant to World Gold Council and Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council and a member of Board of Governors of I.I.T. Bombay. He is the past chairman of ASM International India chapter, Bombay, past President of Powder Metallurgy Association of India. He is the Editor of Trans. PMAI, & a Fellow of PMAI.
