The aim of the book is to set clinical practice firmly in a scientific framework (and also be concise). The Tenth edition follows the format of the earlier editions i.e. being practical oriented. This book will help the medical student who is not satisfied with merely fulfilling the minimum needs of an examination. It will give the family physician extra knowledge needed in general practice and provide an idea of how- his patients are managed when referred to a hospital. And, it can also provide a basis for the post-graduates who are entering into the realm of advanced studies. The book has now included a Color Atlas, giving a practical approach with diagnosis and management to common conditions in practice.
