In this edition several new experiments like Iodine number estimations of blood glucose urea cholesterol ete. by enzymic methods have been added on the continuous demands of the students and the teachers of various specialities/ disciplines. About the Author Dr. S. P. Singh studied biochemistry under the guidance of a world renowned teacher of biochemistry late Prof. PS. Krishnan who worked with Nobel Laureate Dr. Summer (awarded Nobel Prize for the purification and crystallization of enzymes especially urease). Dr.Singh did his Ph.D. from Lucknow University under the guidance of late Dr.Pant.Dr. Singh was nominated as a Medical Commonwealth Fellow by the Govt. of India  and was awarded World Health Organization Fellowship under which he took special advanced training in OcuIar Biochemistry at Texas A&M University Texas U.S.A. Under the guidance of eminent Professor of Biochemistry & Pharmacology George J. Chiou.
