This enlarged edition contains many new designs. This edition presents over 120 fully worked out designs besides problems for exercise. The whole material has been presented conforming to the latest I.S. code (IS: 1373). The problems have been generally taken from the AMIE, B.E. degree examinations of Indian universities and the U.P.S.C. Engineering Services examinations.
