A sari (or saree) is a traditional garment worn by women. A sari is a long piece of fabric, usually ranging from 5 to 9 yards (approximately 4.5 to 8 meters) in length. It is draped around the body in various styles, often with one end (called the pallu) draped over the shoulder, and the rest wrapped around the waist, with pleats. The sari is paired with a fitted blouse called a choli or blouse and a petticoat underneath to secure the fabric and create the desired drape.
