Summary of the Book It has been hundreds of years since Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy ruled over Narnia. They return to discover it has changed. Their castle, Cair Paravel, is in ruins. An evil ruler, King Miraz, reigns supreme over Narnia. Prince Caspian seeks to overthrow him and bring peace and justice to the land once again. However, in order to win, he needs the help of Aslan, the Lord of Narnia. About C. S. Lewis Clive Staples “C. S.” Lewis was an English novelist, lay theologian and literary critic. He is best remembered for The Chronicles of Narnia series of novels. Lewis was a close and personal friend of fellow writer J. R. R. Tolkien.
