The goal of "Principles and Practice of Criminal Profiling" is to maximize the accessibility of CAP research to those engaged in the legal, law enforcement and criminal justice fields. The initial chapters focus on CAP research and methods developed for the profiling and identification of violent crimes, while later chapters canvass the respective CAP studies undertaken into crimes of serial rape, serial/sexual murder and serial arson and explain how each were developed.
