About The Authors S. N. Sivanandam is a professor and the HOD of the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the PSG College of Technology, in Coimbatore. Sivanandam has also penned down Introduction to Neural Networks Using MATLAB 6.0, Introduction to Genetic Algorithms, and Electric Circuit Analysis. The author graduated from the Government College of Technology In 1964, with a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He then did his M.Sc in Power System from the PSG College of Technology in 1966. Sivanandam completed his Ph.D in Control Systems from the Madras University in 1982. In 2001, he was honoured with the Best Teacher Award, and also PSG College of Technology’s Dhakshina Murthy Award for Teaching Excellence. S. N. Deepa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Anna University of Technology in Coimbatore. She has also written Problems & Solutions In Electric Circuit Analysis, Introduction To Fuzzy Logic Using Matlab and Control Systems Engineering Using MATLAB. Deepa graduated with a BE in 1999 from the Government College of Technology. In 2004, she was given the Best Outgoing Student Award after completing her ME from the PSG College of Technology. Her ME thesis was given the National Award from the Indian Society of Technical Education. In 2008, Deepa completed her Ph.D from Anna University. She is the winner of the 1997 G. D. Memorial Award.
