The Private series is a set of mystery novels based on the character Jack Morgan. Private: No.1 Suspect is co-authored by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. Summary of the Book Private: No.1 Suspect has many plots. Jack returns from a trip to find a former girlfriend killed on his bed. He is held as the number one suspect. He will now have to clear himself or he is in for a long trial. On the other hand, Jack also owes a favour to a mobster that he cannot refuse. Thirdly, a film star who was facing legal troubles has disappeared. Are the three plots connected? What will Private, the private investigation company do? Will Jack be able to prove himself innocent? About the Authors James Patterson is an American author, best known for his Alex Cross series. He has also penned Women’s Murder Club, Maximum Ride, and Witch and Wizard series among others. James holds The New York Times record for most bestselling hardcover fiction works by a single author - a total of 76 - which also happens to be a Guinness World Record. Maxine Paetro is an American writer who has previously worked with James Patterson on the Women’s Murder Club series of novels. She has also co-written the Confessions series with Patterson.
