To ensure your steel is absolutely clean, we recommend soaking overnight in a solution of half white vinegar / half water. Wipe them down in the morning and then wash as usual. This method is also effective at removing any "metallic" taste that doesn't come off after normal washing. HEAVY DUTY: Our Steel products are made to endure extreme use and are truly heavy duty. The plate would be fine of dropped, they are comparable in weight to a ceramic or glass plate and could hurt if dropped on a foot.
